A bit more time to craft challenge 55


This is my design card for A bit more time to craft challenge 55: anything goes. Please click

For my card I used one of Lozzy's lovely birthday dream papers - you can see Lozzy's lovely papers here - and you have the chance to win some by entering the challenge.

Ribbon with gems and flowers from Hobbycraft. The image is a lovely stamp by Denami Design, inked with memento tuxedo black and coloured with a spectrum noir pen, with gems added for the necklace. This was cut out using a todo crosshatch die, embossed and edged with the spectrum noir pen.

Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper November 2017 challenge


This is my design card for my Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper November 2017 challenge - please click on the link to see the inspirational designs by my team and we hope you will join in our challenge using some patterned paper.

This card was commissioned. I used paper from M & C Boutique design block (November prize is one of the design blocks), glittered, corrugated and scalloped strips fromstash, a recycled picture and flowers from Hobbycraft.

CHNC challenge extra for November 2017


This is my design card for my CHNC challenge extra for November 2017 - please click on the link to see the inspirational designs by my team and we hope you will join in our challenge.

Now that we are beginning November, it's time to be more serious about Christmas designs - I hope you will be able to join in our November challenge. ... it can be any creation as long as it's for Christmas and you can enter as many times as you wish.

Bugaboo Stamps always generously sponsor my CHNC challenge extra and provide images for the team to use and showcase. The image I've used is cat topper Christmas, a pre-coloured one. I used papers from Dovecraft's The magic of Christmas paper pack, wrapping the torn piece with some sparkly organza ribbon.

CHNC challenge 357


This is my card for my CHNC challenge 357 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of things with wings.

For my card I used two parts of a recycled card - can't take any credit for doing any crafting with this one, but it was too good to put in the recycling paper bin. I won't be entering any challenges with it because I did nothing other than stick the pieces together on the card blank.

CHNC challenge 356


This is my card for my CHNC challenge 356 - please click on the link to find out what it's all about and I hope you'll be able to join in with your Christmas designs - anything goes as long as it's Christmas with the optional theme of traditional Christmas colours.

The background paper is from Dovecraft's Magic of Christmas paper pad. The  piece across the middle is an offcut from Red Christmas paper from The Works, left over when making the previous card. The striped border pieces are from an old Kanban kit (the edges are gold foiled, although here they look more like black). A Kanban greeting from a kit purchased some years ago was mounted on to a Dovecraft Glad Tidings doiley.

Penny's challenge 351


This is my design card for Penny's challenge 351, where the theme is anything goes. Please click on the link to see the lovely designs by the rest of the team and we hope you will join in with your entries.

For my card I used Eureka Stamps cat in hat - Eureka are one of the sponsors of the challenge.

I coloured with spectrum noir pens and glittered with quickie glue pen and Chloe's sparkelicious, cutting out the image to mount on to a Dovecraft Glad Tidings doiley. Papers are from Red Christmas paper pad from The Works with a piece of washi tape across the bottom.

CHNC challenge extra for October mid-month inspiration

For my card I used an unknown piece of backing paper to which I added some small sparkly gems here and there, adding a decoupaged picture and matching sentiment oval from a Kanban kit bought long ago.

CCAYR October challenge: monochromatic browns


This is my design card for Christmas cards all year round October challenge: monochromatic browns. I'm in the Christmas Belles group so we are posting here today - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the Belles group. For my card I used the lovely Stampendous snowy postcard stamp, inked with memento, with torn edges inked with distress inks. Papers are from Kaisercraft merry & bright pad, on to a dark brown card blank, some with torn edges from offcuts.

 I used one of Bugaboo Stamps images called baby stroller, which I coloured digitally using Microsoft Paint. Bugaboo Stamps are sponsoring the challenge.

Let's craft and create challenge 130

I made this using different digital images, merging and fading in parts to make the scene.I was asked to make some halloween birthday cards, so this is one of them - they are going to be for grown up twin granddaughter and grandson, also cards for the same twins from other family members ... all with a halloween theme because the birthday is on 31 October.

I'm struggling to make suitable cards for the commissions because I don't usually 'do' halloween.

Love to craft October inspiration


This is my design card for Love to craft challenge 15 October anything goes - please click on the link to see the lovely crafting of the rest of the team and to enter our challenge.

The roses were foiled and die cut using todo foiling and die cutting. The background card with hearts is an old piece from a Kanban kit long ago, as is the congratulations square. A padded heart, silver ribbons and the Anna Griffin sentiment finish off the card.

The colours went so ell with the lovely Elisabeth Bell topper. The sentiment was added digitally to a piece of one of the papers. 3D flowers and ribbins from stash.
